HOSTS!

Yep, it's now official I can tell you all.

WE are hosting the regional grade 3 to 6 on Sunday June 11th 2006!

YIPPEE!
This is such a fab boost for the club.

Price increase for 2006

As most of you will know it is coming to the end of the 10 week course and nearly time to pay again. Linsey and I have thought long and hard about a price increase. Neither of us wanted to do this but because our rent tripled in April and because the Saturday sessions and some classes are not to full capacity. We unfortunately have to increase the cost of classes.

The good news is the increase will only be 20p!

Therefore a 10 week course will only increase by £2.00.

Great website

Vertex trampoline club have a really great web site run by Lee one of their members.
Check it out
http://vertextc.co.uk/

It has all the competition results on for this year and loads more fun stuff.

Do we have any computer whizz kids out there that could set up one for Hartlepool?????
It would be much better than just a blog

New trampoline

Good news! We will be buying the new trampoline in January!
It's a unitramp like 3 of the ones we already have, it's only a couple of years old and the cost will be £1,500. Bill from Apollo will be bringing it down for us. Thanks Bill!
So lets get some fundraising done and some xmas party and raffle tickets sold!!
We might not have time to organize a sponsored bounce but we could have some more cake and cookie stalls on Satudays! What do you all think? Any more ideas?

Sundays

Next week Linsey will have a list of the new classes that we are planning.
What we need you lot to do is fill in the form and return it so we get an idea on numbers. If we don't get enough interest and we can't cover the costs the classes won't be able to go ahead so let us know as soon as you can.

Bags for xmas

Next week we should have received the bags we have ordered from Active leisure. They have our logo on them and will cost £9.00 members £10.00 non members. Quite a lot of members are wanting one for xmas presents etc, so please bring your money in asap to avoid disappointment as they are discontinued and we won't be able to order any more of the same!
I have also ordered some more T shirts extra to those waiting for them already so we have some in stock!

Funding

Busy day!
This morning Linsey and i went to see Peter Gowland at HVDA in the town. He helps organisations and clubs find funding. What we need to do is to take our letter head to him and he will send a letter to various companies on our behalf to seek donations.
we also went back to Active Leisure with the template and one of our Tshirts so she can scan the logo. It seems like the disc has been tampered with but hopefully no problems should arise and we can go ahead with them.
Other items we can have our logo on:
Pens, Mugs, bags, teddies and keyrings.
We will get some sample orders and see if you lot like them.

Another trampoline!

I don't know when, but there is a very good chance we will be getting another trampoline (second hand) We can't afford a new one yet and aim to purchase a new bed in November 2006. So fundraising will be on the menu.
More details to come.

Don't forget our biggest fund raiser this year!
THE CHRISTMAS PARTY!
Have you got your tickets yet??

Hosting a regional competition????

Spoke to Bill from Apollo trampoline club last night and asked if we are in the running to host a regional.
Well---- Good news and bad news.
Bad news--even though we are the cheapest we will need 2 more trampolines for the day and the transport cost for that will be £150.00 and another club with a slightly higher bid already has 6 trampolines.
Good news-- They are quite eager for clubs further south in the region to host a regional!

So fingers crossed! I'll post as soon as I hear any news.

New Classes

Bumped in to a parent at Tescos today and she asked if we do any adult classes. Well, not at the moment although we do have a coaches session on a Sunday.
However in the New year we are planning more sessions on a Sunday afternoon and one of these will be an adult session. So any of you looking for a way to ged rid of any pounds that extra slice of xmas pudding put on you, watch this space for details

Welcome all to Hartlepool trampoline clubs blog

Hello to all club members and parents.
we've gone all techno. We are on the web! I'm soo excited.
Was messing about on the pc and had a brainwave (so I'm going to have to lie down in a minute) to start a blog for the club.
A blog, for those who don't know is like an online diary where others can add comments. That's about the best way I can explain it because I don't know much about them either!
I thought it would be a great way for everyone to know a little bit more about the club and the day to day stuff that Linsey and I get up to when you arn't training or competing.
Well guess what I did today? I started a blog!!!

Anyone reading this can add a comment or suggestion or just say Hello.
We can also keep you up on news and events although we will still be handing out letters during the class.

Well then the first piece of blog news (drum roll)

Earlier today I visited Active Leisurewear on Grange Road as I think we have all just about had enough of our previous supplier of T-shirts, hoodies etc. I was chuffed with what I saw so we're going over to them. The prices are reasonable and some quite alot cheaper. Linsey is going to get the template of our logo and away we go. I will get some more information of products they sell and will let you all know asap. We are looking for water bottles too but not sure if they can print our logo on them.
