Dear Parents and Members,

Our Friday class times will be changing when the next course starts. The new times will be 5pm-6.30pm and 6.30-8pm. This is because we can no longer acquire the hall from 4pm due to school activities. As the class times are now an hour and a half the new price will be £18.75 for a 5 week course.

The first date for the new times will be Friday the 27th of August.

Dear parents and members,

As many of you will know in January of this year we did not charge our £10 yearly subscriptions as usual.
Subs are used to help toward new equipment and essential repairs.

This year we decided at committee to wait until the beginning of the new tax year in April. This was because we understand that Christmas is an expensive time of year and many feel the pinch in January. It was also just a couple of months after British Gymnastics membership was due in October. Subs can be paid now and at anytime up to the end of this course which will be Saturday 3rd of April.

We also understand that many have more than one child who attends so the 1st child will be £10 and any other siblings will be half price at £5.

Just a reminder that we are holding a fun day on Saturday 12th December in the sports hall. Starts at 12.00 and finishes at about 3. .There will be lots of things there like Rig rides, Bouncy castles, Cake stalls also there is some brilliant raffle prizes like 5 free driving lessons, Limo ride for 4 to and from the christmas party, Free days hire of a bouncy castle and many more. Also we are having a car wash outside in the car park.

Fun day
There will be a fun day as part of the ongoing fundraising. This will take place on Saturday 12 December in the carpark. We have some fantastic raffle prizes for a raffle that day. Prizes include 5 free driving lessons and a limo ride to our christmas party. They are both really good prizes and there is many more prizes. We desperately need volunteers for this fun day to help out with face painting, selling raffle tickets and a carwash.

Christmas Party
The venue for our christmas party will be at the Rovers Quoit Club on Monday 21st of December. The tickets cost £5 that includes buffet and disco. Also there will be a raffle and tonnes of prizes to win and our awards and trophies for that year. Anyone who would like to donate a raffle prize for that evening, please bring it along to the party that night.

Our next committee will take place on Tuesday 8th December at 5pm in the small hall If you have anything for the agenda please let us know by Friday December 5th.

Schools Compition
The school compition will take place on December 5th. The program is now out and you can check which time you are on in your classes if you are taking part in the compition.

Congratulations to everyone who competed at Carlisle this Sunday. It was a set and cold weekend in the caravan but we still had loads of fun in the bunk barn at Hadrians Wall camping and caravaning site. We know some of you stayed in posh hotels too!!!

tickets are selling fast. Get yours soon to avoid disappointment. This is a huge event and awards night for Hartlepool Trampoline Club and this year will be held on Monday 22nd of December, 7.30pm until 11pm. Tickets £5.00. Friends and family are all welcome. Anyone who would like to donate a raffle prize, please bring it along with you on the evening.
- Committee meeting
The next meeting will be Saturday December 13th at 3.00pm straight after the session. Main topics will be organisation for the Christmas party. If we would like to get involved please come along. If you can’t make it and you would like to help towards the buffet for the evening, we will have a list of items needed in class that you can bring. Just write your name next to the item (i.e. paper plates, sausage rolls)
-Schools competition.
The schools programme is now available in class and to download at www.vertextc.co.uk . Unfortunately there has been a disappointing amount of entries from the club due to some schools not getting the forms in on time. Please check the programme carefully for your competitor number and your time and panel to compete.
-Carlisle competition
Entries for Carlisle need to be in by Wednesday 18th of December
-Welfare officers
For those who completed the first course, the second course is on the 18th of February 2009. (Ann Boddy, Gill Sedgewick and Carol Huntley) If you are able to attend this course which completes the requirements to become a welfare officer, please see Lisa ASAP.

Sorry haven't written on the blog for ages as many of you will know the club has been really busy with competitions and promotion. We are in dire need of funding and more members and we have been working towards this. Well done to everyone who took part in the 24 hour bounce with Billingham and Sedgefield and if any of you still have sponsor money please bring it in asap. It was a tiring day but loads of fun. Did manage to get a bit of sleep as some of you will know from the snoring in the hall.

This Saturday the 15th we are havig a cake and cookie stall and Easter raffle. We are also are doing a bring a friend day on Saturday the 15th. Any of our members can bring a friend and for those that do their friend pays and you get to bounce for free.

Good luck to everyone competing at Ashington on Sunday the 16th. We have the program in class so you know what times you are competing. Vertexs website appears to be down at the moment. I will make an attempt at posting program here but can't make any promises!!!

We are having a fundraiser on Sunday in the form of a sponsored walk from the Old West quay to the Staincliffe Hotel. BBQ and bouncy castle starts at the Staincliffe at 2.00pm. Tickets £5.00.
All grown ups will be pleased to know that the bouncy castle we have hired is suitable for you too!!!
Around the same time about 2.30pm the QE2 is due to pass by Seaton, so the seafront should be really busy. If anyone would like to make a banner or sign for the club that would be great!

I'm very pleased to announce we have received the £7000 grant awarded to us by Tees Valley community foundation. Most of This will be put towards new equipment including mats and a twisting rig!

As most of you will know Linsey is off on her travels this saturday and doesn't know when she will be back. Suzanne has very kindly offered to step in and help with the coaching I hope everyone makes her very welcome. Some of you will already know Suzanne from when she used to bounce and she is also coaching the Sunday sessions for us now!
Plus Sam S, Sam R, Remi, Rebecca and Hayley will be going on the assistant coaching course in April which is great for them and the club!

What I really need now that Linsey is going is loads of help with paper work, lesson planning, promotions and competitions etc. If anyone would like to help in any of these areas or has something else to offer please speak to me during the session. Bear in mind Linsey is my right hand and I phone her at all times of the day and night! So if anyone can put up with my chaotic control freaklike personality, please let me know!
We also need more judges for competitions. Anyone who would like to do a course please let me know. We are not allowed to enter comps unless we have judges! You must be 15 years old to do this course.

Sundays are now back to normal apart from April 22nd which is cancelled due to netball.
There is a possibility 29th of April and 5th of May will be cancelled but we won't be informed until nearer the time. Soon as I know I'll post it here.
Next session we will be giving you all a number of letter which will include The next course fees reminder, the next competition entry form (which is at Lightfoot), a letter about uniform for all members and a special bring a friend day where you can boumce for free!
